In 2025, Highline Doors undertook a project at the Courtyard by Marriott in New York, NY, commissioned by Dynamic Construction. The scope included the installation of a new aluminum storefront, the addition of four ADA-compliant automatic operators (ED250s), and the replacement of mechanical components for a revolving door, along with the incorporation of curved glass. This project aimed to enhance accessibility while improving the overall efficiency of the entry system, thereby addressing client needs for both security and convenience.
Integrating the new automatic operators with existing security systems while ensuring that accessibility standards were met. The team strategically coordinated with other trades schedules to manage onsite security and installation seamlessly without compromising safety during the renovation.
We aimed to deliver a robust entry system that significantly improved accessibility for all patrons, including those with disabilities.
The installation of ADA-compliant automatic operators increased pedestrian flow, facilitating a welcoming environment. Feedback from the client indicated that the enhancements contributed to a stronger security posture at the hotel entrance, effectively reducing entry-related incidents and improving guest satisfaction.
