In 2025, Highline Security was contracted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to replace the front entry doors at the Clifton Maintenance Facility in Staten Island. The project required the installation of custom doors along with a modern automated access system that complied with accessibility and security standards. We fabricated and installed new entry doors, integrated AADM-approved ADA door operators, and connected the system to the facility’s existing CCURE security platform.
The existing entry doors at the maintenance facility required replacement while ensuring the new system would meet ADA accessibility requirements and integrate seamlessly with the building’s electronic access control infrastructure. The solution needed to provide reliable daily operation for a high-traffic facility while maintaining compatibility with the MTA’s existing CCURE security system.
We installed custom-fabricated entry doors along with AADM-approved ADA operators (Dorma ED250) to provide compliant automatic door operation. The new doors and operators were carefully installed and configured to ensure smooth accessibility for staff and visitors. We also integrated the new door system directly into the facility’s CCURE access control platform, enabling secure monitoring and control through the existing security infrastructure.
The completed installation delivered a fully modernized entry system for the Clifton Maintenance Facility. The new doors provide reliable daily operation, improved accessibility through ADA-compliant automation, and seamless integration with the MTA’s existing security controls. By combining custom door fabrication, automated operators, and access control integration, Highline delivered a durable and compliant entry solution suited for a busy transit maintenance environment.
